Healthy New Towns Events
Ebbsfleet Garden City Walk – 7th October 2017
On Saturday 7th October, 45 local residents walked around the Garden City – to places that are not normally accessed by the public.
We visited Blue Lake, Church Path Pit and The River Ebbsfleet. In the future these areas will be major destinations for leisure and activities in the Garden City.
We’d like to hear your ideas for Getting Active in the Garden City – give us your suggestions for where our next walk should be.
Sharing the vision for a new Model of Care
On 21st November we will be meeting with local community groups and organisations who provide important support services to our residents. We know that the community and voluntary sector plays a vital role in our daily lives – so we will be meeting local groups to hear their vision for a new model of care and the role that community and voluntary groups will play in health care now and in the future.
If you’d like to attend this event contact Lorna.Hughes@ebbsfleetdc.org.uk for more information.

We are organising an afternoon walk in Ebbsfleet Garden City – taking an interesting route to the Enchanted Garden in Northfleet. If you would like to attend just send a short email with your name and let me know if you will be bringing friends, family or children with you, so that we are well organised and have enough refreshments for everyone! We will meet at Ebbsfleet International Station at 12.00 p.m. The walk will end back at Ebbsfleet International Station at about 3.15pm.
