More than £60,000 towards community initiatives

Over the last 3 years, Ebbsfleet Development Corporation has provided grants of more than £60,000 to local groups, based in and around the Garden City, to enable them to provide activities and establish clubs for new residents.

The corporation adapted its Community Investment Fund during the pandemic to enable groups to take their activities on-line.

Ebbsfleet Development Corporation were delighted to be invited to judge a year 7 Eco-Classroom design project on Friday 9th July at Ebbsfleet Academy.

The project, initiated by Class Of Your Own is a prequel to the launch of the Design Engineer, Construct! (DEC) Learning Programme that the school will be introducing in September 2021.

The first custom build homes have been approved for Ebbsfleet Garden City.

Westerhill Homes saw its plans for 67 new homes approved by Ebbsfleet Development Corporation’s planning committee tonight .

The homes will be built in the centre of Whitecliffe, in Alkerden Village, close to the Fastrack route, education campus and local shops.

Consultation on new walking and cycling routes

An  early consultation is being held on walking and cycling improvement schemes across Ebbsfleet, Greenhithe and Northfleet.

These schemes form part of the Green Corridors Programme. They seek to provide high-quality, connected routes to support a shift towards sustainable modes of travel.

Cloud9 Festival was a huge success

The Cloud9 Festival staged at the weekend was a roaring success.

Through a partnership with The Grand Healthy Living Centre, CLOUD 9 supports us for our planned Health & Wellbeing Hub at Ebbsfleet Central.

Estate agent and pharmacy to open in Ebbsfleet Garden City

An estate agent and a pharmacy will open this month in Ebbsfleet Garden City.

Robinson Jackson, which has branches throughout Kent and London, and Delmergate Pharmacy, which is based in Kent, will open at the Castle Hill Local Centre in the Garden City in North Kent.

For residents, it increases the services available within their local neighbourhood,
