The winner of Ebbsfleet Garden City’s landscape competition has been shortlisted for another award on an international level.
HALO, (Hives, Arcs, Links, Organics) was an idea for a series of islands that would all be linked by walkways with one of them as an arts and culture island where open air productions and gigs could take place.
Floating hotel pods and an innovation area for start-up businesses were also imagined as well as the Garden City’s very own beach.
It has now been shortlisted in the World Landscape Architect Awards for 2019 in the Conceptual category, along with projects from California, China and New Zealand.
