Ebbsfleet Development Corporation board member Louise Hardy has been honoured at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Louise won First Woman of the Built Environment  and joined the leading lights behind a parenting app, gym group, high performance tech company and private equity firm who were all recognised at the 13th First Women Awards, which took place in London.

Held in association with the CBI and Real Business, the awards honour the UK’s leading senior-level business women and professionals.

Louise has been a board member with Ebbsfleet Development Corporation since its inception and is a civil engineer.

She is a former director of Laing O’Rourke, where her role focused on the delivery of infrastructure for the Olympic Park. As a senior project manager at Bechtel Ltd, her projects included a £150 million portfolio of station refurbishments for Tube Lines, delivering a section of the Transylvanian Motorway, and delivering significant elements of HS1 at Ebbsfleet.
