Health – what is planned?

We are working closely with the NHS and other local and regional health bodies to ensure that the current and future population has appropriate access to healthcare. We will keep you updated as plans progress.

Ebbsfleet Development Corporation is committed to delivering a city that offers a  quality of life and quality of place

Walkways and cycleways will be embedded across the City to enable active, outdoor, healthy lifestyles. Promenade walks will be built to give residents access to the waterfront in this area for the first time in a century.

Current planning permissions within Ebbsfleet include a wide range of parks and open spaces that will cover over 43% of the city area. Ebbsfleet Garden City  is connected by green routes between the River Thames, north Kent green belt and will include more than 50 new parks and open spaces.

A world-class health, education and innovation centre is proposed for a site close to Ebbsfleet International station in 2025/6. This site is planned to include a Health and Wellbeing Hub, Diagnostic Centre and Education and Innovation space. Click below to find out more.
