The Ebbsfleet Garden City Healthy New Towns project wants to  ensure that all people are well catered for by making sure there is a range of housing types and tenures that meet local demand for high quality housing.

We want understand the needs and aspirations of local people aged over 50, and are working with the Housing Learning and Improvement Network to better understand what people over the age of 50 want from the Garden City.   We have asked Housing LIN to meet with local people to gather views and make sure the garden city is planning well to meet those needs.

Focus Group discussion will take place on Dartford, Gravesend and Ebbsfleet in June. We need 12 – 15 people who live within 5 miles of Ebbsfleet to attend each group discussion – and each will receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you in appreciation of the time given.

There will be 3 Group discussions held on 12th (daytime) and 19th June (evening) – and we are looking for people who would like to participate in one of these sessions.

If you are aged over 50, and live locally, please do get in touch with Clare Skidmore at the Housing LIN on c.skidmore@housinglin.org.uk and let her know your name, contact details, age (approximate if you prefer), and preference to attend a daytime session on 12 June, or evening session on 19 June. Venues are in the process of being confirmed.

The sessions will be interesting and interactive. And in addition to shopping vouchers, there will be tea, coffee, cake, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We hope to see you there!
