Culture Vision

Through project delivery, wide consultation and best practise research, EDC has developed a Culture Vision and Strategy for Ebbsfleet Garden City that will underpin our approach to cultural placemaking.

The culture vision for Ebbsfleet Garden City is one of wide-ranging participation in ‘everyday arts and culture’ and curated cultural experiences that bring joy and inspiration to people’s lives.

We intend to deliver this vision through 3 key priorities:

  1. A community-led cultural programme
  2. Co-locating and integrating cultural facilities into community buildings and outdoor spaces
  3. Developing life and work skills

How are we delivering our Culture Vision?

EDC aim to promote, encourage, fund, and grow cultural and creative opportunities in the local area. We intend to do this by working in partnership with a variety of artists, organisations, and residents to develop a broad range of projects, activities and events that engage and empower local people; support skills development and create employment; generate wellbeing, happiness, and a sense of belonging.
