The first issue of Ebbsfleet Garden City magazine will be launched at Minerva House on Montague Close on 22 September.
The event, hosted at the Winckworth Sherwood offices from 5-7pm, will be attended by members of the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC) including Michael Cassidy, chairman, and Paul Spooner, interim chief executive, as well as representatives of developers and investors.
The new business publication tracks the development of the project for the new garden city in north Kent, which will deliver up to 15,000 homes, 511,000sq m of commercial space and 185,800sq m of retail, leisure and community facilities.
As well as updating investors on the latest news from the construction sites, the magazine analyses the masterplan guiding the development and includes interviews with Cassidy, along with leading members of the councils surrounding the garden city, Councillor Jeremy Kite MBE (Dartford), Councillor John Cubitt (Gravesham) and Councillor Mark Dance (Kent).
A section is dedicated to describing the plans for London Paramount, the entertainment resort proposed for the Swanscombe Peninsula, whose creators believe has the potential to become one of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK.
The magazine also explores what the “healthy new town” status, granted by NHS England, means for Ebbsfleet.
