Whitecliffe Lakes

A linear park that reveals the extraordinarily varied landscape of Whitecliffe.
Character: Varied urban and naturalistic lakes and water-bodies, open and linear parkland,
variety of woodland and unshaded grassland.Function: Sport, play, informal recreation, habitat protection and enhancement.
Whitecliffe Lakes is an entirely new park connecting the cliffs in the south of the quarry with Craylands Gorge in the north. Incorporating a number of potential water bodies, the park could support drainage within Eastern Quarry, managing peak flows whist

The park will form part of a major connection between the open countryside and the River Thames, providing an enhanced route to connect to the
