Schools & Education

Education

Ebbsfleet Development Corporation understands that education may be a key factor when deciding where to call home. Kent County Council, as the Strategic Commissioner of Education Provision in the county, is responsible for ensuring there are sufficient high-quality places for all learners.

The Commissioning Plan for Education Provision in Kent is a 5-year rolling plan which Kent County Council updates annually. The 2023 to 2027 version was approved by Cabinet on 26 January 2023 and shows how they will make sure there are:

  • enough high-quality education places
  • places located in the right areas
  • places for all learners
